Compassion

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Cornerstone is concerned about marginalized, hurting people. Jesus redeemed His ancient people from slavery in Egypt, He saved His church from slavery to sin, and He asks His people to infuse our world with all kinds of redemption and grace. People of all ages can volunteer for these ministries in our church lobby, and a significant part of our church fellowship occurs at these outreach events.

Helping Hands

In association with Cornerstone's Deacons, Helping Hands assists with home repair needs. Labor is always free. Clients are encouraged to participate in buying materials but it is not a requirement for help. Sometimes pride gets in the way of asking for help, but if you let it, it will steal away the blessing we get from sharing God's love in the way He has called us. Contact Gary Rice.

Gathering Inn

Cornerstone hosts The Gathering Inn, a nomadic homeless shelter here in Placer county. Sign up to help in the church lobby.

WWJD?

A breakfast and friendship ministry to Auburn's homeless. Contact one of our pastors to help make coffee and build friendship with the homeless on Thursday mornings.
