Psalms 78:2-7 shows that God has established a testimony to the next generation to tell of the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders that He has done. He has done this primarily through His Word and also through those who have seen His saving power and acts of faithfulness in their lives. It is our goal at Cornerstone to come alongside parents in opening the Bible and sharing our own hearts of faith and love for God so that His testimony can go forth with power, conviction and redemption.
Nursery (0-3 years old)
The nursery is available for the entire service for our youngest kids. Feel free to drop your little ones off with our nursery volunteers or use the nursery space with your kids if needed. Children are welcome in our service as well, so feel free to keep your little ones with you-make yourself at home and grab a few toys and books from the nursery to use in the service if you would like. Our nursery is a ministry of loving care and prayer for your child and your family. If there is a specific way we can pray for you and your family, please let us know.
Sunday School (4 years-6th grade)
Our Sunday school class is available during the teaching portion of the service. Children will be dismissed to Sunday school after the first worship set and will be released back into the service during the second worship set, after the sermon. If you are new to Cornerstone, please walk your children to Sunday school to meet the teacher and make the teacher aware of any food allergies, as we usually serve a snack. Sunday school children should be able to use the restroom independently. If you need to arrange special accommodations for your child, please contact Sheri at email@example.com and we'll see what we can do to make Cornerstone a welcoming place for your entire family.
We are currently using Group Publishing's Dig In curriculum. From their website:
Digging Into the Heart of God
Digging Into the Heart of God brings a fresh approach to growing a lifelong relationship with God. As kids explore God's character throughout the Bible, God transforms them from the inside out. Kids discover what it means to reflect God's Heart in everyday life.
Please contact Children's Ministry Director, Sheri Koder, with any questions.
