Yes, those are real pictures of our kids!!!
Psalms 78:2-7 shows that God has established a testimony to the next generation to tell of the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders that He has done. He has done this primarily through His Word and also through those who have seen His saving power and acts of faithfulness in their lives. It is our goal at Cornerstone to come alongside parents in opening the Bible and sharing our own hearts of faith and love for God so that His testimony can go forth with power, conviction and redemption. Cornerstone currently uses curriculum produced by Children Desiring God.
Nursery (0 through 3 years old)
These rooms are available year-round during the entire Sunday morning worship service. Our nursery is a ministry of loving care and prayer for your child and your family, and if there is a specific way we can pray for you and your family, please let us know.
4's, 5's & 6's
This room is available during the entire Sunday morning worship service. Our curriculum this year is "He Established a Testimony: God has testified of His glorious deeds and mighty power." This study explores God's greatness by noting key themes found chronologically throughout the Old Testament.
Sunday School (1st-6th grades)
Sunday School is available for 1st through 6th graders during the worship service on Sunday morning. Kids begin the service with parents, are blessed and dismissed a few minutes into the service for Sunday School, and then rejoin the service after the sermon for an extended time of singing, prayer and Communion.
Our 1st-3rd Graders
Our curriculum is "Faithful To All His Promises: God's promises are gifts to the beliver." The challenge of the Christian life is not to simply know the promises of God, but to place unshakeable confidence in them. This study explores many of God's specific promises and teaches children that God's character is trustworthy; therefore, His promises are true and reliable.
Our 4th-6th graders
The curriculum is "My Purpose Will Stand: God is not an idle God." God is continually involved with all created things, directing them to accomplish His eternal purposes. This study teaches children to recognize God's providence in their lives and to joyfully trust His good purposes for them. Each lesson reveals that God is the sovereign ruler of the universe whose eye is watching over all things, and whose hand is working in all things.
